No one in the Digital Intelligence world can deny that the pool of data being generated, even in small cases, is substantial and growing. In addition, criminals are transitioning away from saving data on their phones to storing more information in the Cloud, where it might be more difficult to trace.

The challenge for investigators, of course, is being able to find actionable intelligence within that data pool quickly. Cellebrite has recently introduced three powerful new product versions that make reviewing data faster and easier to help solve more cases faster.

Cellebrite UFED and Cellebrite Responder 7.44 are the first tools in the market to introduce full-file-system support for the latest Samsung Exynos flagship devices running Android 11. This includes Samsung S20, Samsung Galaxy S21, and other popular devices running Android 10 or 11. Furthermore, Qualcomm Live has been dramatically improved to support the Qualcomm-based Galaxy S20 and many other, previously unsupported models. Finally, the Chat Capture feature now supports SnapChat in a fully automatic flow.

Cellebrite Physical Analyzer 7.43 allows data to be reviewed faster and more efficiently. “Selective decoding” now enables investigators to custom select which data sectors they wish to decode to allow compliance with warrants that may limit access to certain types of mobile device data and maintain data privacy regulations.

Cellebrite UFED Cloud now enables users to create and save the account package of a Cloud extraction, where manually entered credentials can be exported to the account package as tokens (including the authentication state/2FA).
