What is Cellebrite Inseyets?
Cellebrite Inseyets is a purpose-built, all-inclusive digital forensics suite of solutions powered by the advanced access and extraction capabilities of Premium and UFED, the decoding and analysis capabilities of Physical Analyzer, and new capabilities that streamline, automate and offer other time-saving tools that provide Examiners with the most efficient solution in the Digital Forensics community today.
What does Cellebrite Inseyets include?
- Cellebrite Inseyets powered by UFED – Access devices and data previously unreachable (when compared to UFED) and extract the Full File System data including containerized applications and encrypted data.
- Cellebrite Inseyets powered by PA – Process and analyze evidence quickly from the broadest range of apps and sources, enrich the case with in-depth information and validate your evidence easily.
- Cellebrite Streamline – Easily and quickly process a device from extraction to UFDR in a few clicks.
- Cellebrite Autonomy – Scale-up investigations and run multiple automated processes quickly and accurately at once.
(Please consult with your dedicated sales manager to determine if you qualify for the Autonomy solution as part of your Cellebrite Inseyets purchase) - Cellebrite Quick View – Get a glimpse into the device before extraction and help identify the device’s relevance and priority.
- Cellebrite Triage – Leverage customizable search criteria to quickly flag relevant devices and significantly improve device prioritization.
- Cellebrite UFED Cloud – Extract, preserve and analyze cloud-based data using device-based tokens or known credentials and gain access to valuable evidence that is not available on the device.
- Cellebrite Commander – Manage permissions and capabilities for all users, including software updates and license updates.

How will Cellebrite Inseyets benefit me compared to what I have now?
When upgrading to Cellebrite Inseyets, you will enjoy these added capabilities:
- UFED customer – Advanced device access, including unlock-ready, Full File System extractions, Streamlined workflows, Quick Views before full extraction, Triage prioritization, Automated multi-processing capabilities, Cloud-account access, Commander and more.
- Premium customer – Streamlined workflows, Quick Views before full extraction, Triage prioritization, Automated multi-processing capabilities, Cloud-account access, Commander and more.
How is this going to affect my current Cellebrite environment with regards to connectivity, compliance, and security requirements?
To take full advantage of Cellebrite Inseyets, a connection to a network is required (there is no exchange of device data). Cellebrite Inseyets is also available as an offline configuration to match your agency’s needs. We advise following Cellebrite Inseyets security requirements to prepare your workstation.
Will Cellebrite announce end of life for UFED / PA / Premium?
- UFED – Currently there is no timeline to sunset UFED.
- Premium – Currently there is no timeline to sunset Premium.
- PA 7 – Cellebrite is considering sunsetting PA 7 in 2024 and will provide 18 months of support after the official announcement or the expiration of active licenses, whichever is later.
- PA 8 – PA Ultra 8.x is now Inseyets PA 10.x
What do I need to know when upgrading my existing products to Cellebrite Inseyets?
- UFED 4PC – you will require an upgrade kit, and make sure you have Cellebrite Max dongle.
- Touch 2 – Cellebrite Inseyets isn’t supported on Touch 2, we recommend moving to 4PC or computer-based version hardware where you will require a full Cellebrite Inseyets kit, and make sure you have Cellebrite Max dongle.
- Touch 3 – You will require an upgrade kit, and make sure you have Cellebrite Max dongle (please note that Touch 3 isn’t optimal for Cellebrite Inseyets and some capabilities won’t work as well).
Is Unlocking included in Inseyets?
Inseyets is unlock-ready, however you need to purchase the unlocks package separately.
What is the Turbo Link?
Turbo Link serves as the advanced connection between the device and the capabilities of the solution. It embodies the cutting-edge technology powering Cellebrite Inseyets, enhancing the speed and efficiency of data extraction and analysis (formerly known as the “Cheetah” adapter).
Does Cellebrite Inseyets require new hardware?
Some systems may require additional hardware. Please refer to the product technical sheets for the specific details.
What dongle do I need to be able and upgrade to Cellebrite Inseyets?
Cellebrite Inseyets requires a Cellebrite Max dongle. (Check your dongle type here)
What is the difference between PA 7/PA 10 (Cellebrite Inseyets powered by PA)?
Cellebrite Inseyets, powered by PA (version 10.x), operates on a database that handles large volumes of data. It introduces new features like Geo-Location Semantics, Media Origin, Import/Export and quicker case reopening. With the new Cellebrite Inseyets offering, you will also enjoy additional enhancements like Cloud and Crypto features. (Cellebrite Inseyets powered by PA and PA 7, share the same decoding abilities)
Can I try Cellebrite Inseyets with my current license?
You may explore Cellebrite Inseyets powered by PA v10.x, however, please be aware that you will only be able to utilize the decoding and analysis features. The rest of Cellebrite Inseyets capabilities such as extraction and other advanced capabilities will not be available to try.
