Course Description

Cellebrite Guardian Fundamentals (CGF) is an entry-level, foundational course designed to introduce investigators and forensic practitioners to Cellebrite’s Guardian platform and its role in managing secure, cloud-based digital investigations.

This course provides practical insight into how Guardian supports evidence security, collaboration, and case management across the full Case‑to‑Closure journey. Students are introduced to Guardian’s core applications and how they integrate with Cellebrite forensic tools to streamline workflows, maintain chain of custody integrity, and support investigative stakeholders.

 

Course Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Explain the purpose, structure, and benefits of the Guardian platform for managing digital investigations
  • Explore Guardian Investigate capabilities, including case management, task tracking, subject analysis, data review tools, and Ask Your Data AI
  • Describe Guardian Forensics workflows, including secure evidence intake, forensic assignment management, and audit‑ready reporting
  • Identify integration points between Guardian applications and other Cellebrite tools to support seamless evidence handling
  • Recognize best practices for secure collaboration and chain of custody management in a cloud-based environment

Recommended Experience: No prior Guardian experience required. Basic familiarity with digital investigations or Cellebrite tools is helpful but not required.
