    Course Description

    Build advanced mobile device analysis skills for defense and intelligence operations with Cellebrite Inseyets Physical Analyzer. Through hands-on training, learn to analyze extracted data, reconstruct communications, build activity timelines, examine geolocation and app data, recover deleted content, and correlate information across multiple devices. Develop the skills to turn complex mobile data into timely, actionable intelligence while maintaining data integrity.

     

    Course Learning Objectives

    Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be able to:

    • Perform digital forensic examinations using Inseyets Physical Analyzer.
    • Configure Inseyets.PA, explore data extractions from mobile devices, and use Inseyets.PA advanced settings.
    • Compare advanced forensic examination tools and discuss topics such as SQLite databases, flash memory characteristics, data carving techniques, and byte-level data searches.
    • Prepare digital intelligence briefs.
    • Describe data validation best practices, documenting validation processes and chain of custody.
    • Identify smartphones and manufacturers, and use forensic techniques to examine, identify, and verify smartphone hardware, software, and data.
    • Describe Android and Apple operating system and file system structures.

    Recommended Experience: Completion of CIET D&I or equivalent experience with mobile device extraction and analysis is recommended. No prior Inseyets certification is required.
