In this week’s Tip Tuesday, we focus on the investigative analytics graph view in Cellebrite Pathfinder, which offers a visual representation of connections and interactions between multiple parties.

Click on ‘Filters’ to adjust the number of events to hone in on what is of interest to us. When you see what you like, click on a link to see the results.

You can also turn on ‘show only mutual communications or connections’ in the ‘Filters’ menu as many people will communicate through mid-tier parties to not target themselves directly.

Connections are colorized so you can see all the backgrounds in the foreground. In the right sidebar, you can see all their chats and how they are communicating through parties.

Advanced search also allows you to enter event types, number of events, subjects, and more to focus on a smaller group of communications. This can potentially help you identify the middle person in these investigations.

Watch the full episode to learn how Investigative Analytics can surface actionable intelligence in your digital investigations.
