In an effort to support the changing needs of investigators and examiners during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are offering a variety of at-home licensing options to maintain continuity of operations and keep investigations rolling.

We realize that you may be working from home or at a remote facility without the necessary access to your Cellebrite software. Our ability to respond quickly to rapidly evolving situations like this, while maintaining uninterrupted service, is a big part of our commitment to you and all our customers. As such, we are responding to your needs and deploying the following measures to enable your remote operations:

Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) – This allows users with an active Cellebrite Physical Analyzer license to access their office computer remotely, pending a secured connection and approved IT Security protocols. You can now convert your existing license to enable RDP.

Demo License – This allows users with an active license the option of obtaining a 30-day demo license that can be installed locally on a home computer. The demo license is available for Cellebrite UFED 4PC, Cellebrite Physical Analyzer, and Cellebrite UFED Cloud solutions.

Software and Hardware Subscription – We are extending the option of a 6-month hardware and software lease of a Cellebrite UFED Touch 2 unit and Cellebrite Physical Analyzer software to agencies that require a short-term option for examiners to perform digital data extractions from home.

You can purchase a 6-month subscription for the following solutions:

  • Cellebrite UFED 4PC
  • Cellebrite UFED 4PC & Cellebrite Physical Analyzer
  • Cellebrite UFED Touch 2
  • Cellebrite UFED Touch 2 & UFED Physical Analyzer

Note that this offering is for a limited period and not available in all regions. For exact details, please contact your Cellebrite sales representative.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How can I get the RDP license?
A: To verify your eligibility for the RDP option and to obtain a demo license, please contact: Technical Customer Support

Q: My agency has not purchased any Cellebrite products. Can I still obtain an at-home license?
A: The above licensing options are designed specifically for customers with an active Cellebrite license. We do have instances where a trial version is available. Please complete a Sales Inquiry Form to learn more.

Q: There are multiple examiners at my agency who are working from home. Can I get more than one at-home license?
A: You can get as many 30-day demo licenses as needed. With regards to RDP, it’s a 1:1 ratio.

Q: My workstation at home is not connected to the Internet. Can I still use these licenses?
A: The RDP requires Internet access because you are accessing your office system. The demo licenses operate offline.

Q: With regards to the 6-month subscription options, can I extend it for longer?
A: The minimum subscription is 6 months. For longer subscription periods please consult with a Cellebrite sales representative.

Q: Is the RDP license also valid for the Cellebrite UFED Cloud solution?
A: No. If you require a cloud license, you can request the 1-month trial.

This is the first blog in a series of posts dedicated to communicating developments and opportunities that are arising to help manage the new mode of working from home.

We, like you, are now socially isolated and let’s face it, it is not much fun. So, we wanted to create a special daily get together where we could just have some great conversation and forget about the aggravation of being stuck at home.

Every day from 12:30PM to 1PM EST we will open a live video chat for the first 1,000 attendees. You only need to register once to join us on any day.
