A New Way to Collect Chat Data From Android Applications With UFED and Cellebrite Responder 7.40

Chat Capture is a new collection method that enables users to grab screenshots from any Android device.  Using a fully automated flow, users can collect specified chat conversations, from both WhatsApp and Signal applications, as well as information about the chat participants such as name, phone number, and more.  Data from other applications can be captured using the chat capture “Generic” mode.

To retrieve more logical data from Android Huawei devices we added the capability to apply Huawei backup via UFED and Cellebrite Responder. To get data out of iOS devices we upgraded the support of iOS full filesystem based on checkm8 to include the latest iOS version available, 14.2.
