RECRUITMENT PRIVACY STATEMENT

Introduction 

Cellebrite Group (“Cellebrite”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Recruitment Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you apply for a position with us and throughout our recruitment process, whether you are a temporary, full-time, or part-time employee, intern, contractor, or contingent worker (the “Candidate” or “you”). 

Please note that additional or other privacy notices may apply should you become a Cellebrite employee. When visiting Cellebrite’s websites, our Website Privacy Notice shall also apply. This Notice may be amended from time to time.  

  1. Definitions 
  1. personal information” means all information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could be linked to an identified or identifiable person; an “identifiable person” is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, by reasonable efforts, including through an identifier, such as name, I.D. number, location data, online identifier or any other information regarding a person’s physical, health, financial, social or other condition. 
  1. processing” means any action pertaining to personal information, including without limitation, its collection, retention, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation, alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, revelation, transmission, distribution, accessing, combining, integration, unification, arrangement, limitation, deletion and/or elimination. 
  1. Cellebrite Group” refers to any company that belongs to the Cellebrite Group, including Cellebrite Inc. U.S., Cellebrite GmbH, Cellebrite Asia Pacific Pte Ltd., Cellebrite Soluções de Inteligência Digital Ltda, Cellebrite Digital Intelligence Solutions Private Limited, Cellebrite UK Limited, Cellebrite Canada Mobile Data Solutions Ltd., Cellebrite France SAS, Cellebrite Japan K.K., Cellebrite Australia PTY Limited, Cellebrite Digital Intelligence LP U.S. and Cellebrite Federal Solutions Inc.   1. Data Controller 

Where required by applicable data protection laws, the relevant entity within the Cellebrite Group to which you submitted your application acts as the data controller for your personal information collected under this Recruitment Privacy Notice.

  1. How We Collect Personal Information? 
  1. We hereby inform you, and you hereby acknowledge that you have no legal obligation to provide us with any personal information, and the provision of personal information is solely based on your free will. However, if you fail to provide us with certain personal information, we may not be able to review your job application and make decisions regarding your employment with Cellebrite. 
  1. You acknowledge that your personal information will be retained in Cellebrite’s databases. By providing us your personal information, you consent to the terms of this Recruitment Privacy Notice and to the processing of your personal information as described herein. If you do not agree to any of these terms, please do not apply for a position with us. 
  1. Candidate’s personal information may include any information you provide to us, including your name, contact details, physical address, gender, date of birth, photograph, details of your qualifications, employment history, any information included in your CV or cover letter, job preferences, current and historic salary details including salary expectations and details of your current benefit entitlements. 
  1. Personal information may also include names and contact details for references. Please note that it is your responsibility to obtain consent from your references prior to providing us with personal information about them and to inform them about the processing of their personal information, as described in this Recruitment Privacy Notice. 
  1. Cellebrite may also collect personal information about Candidates from third parties, subject to any applicable law, including academic history, references supplied by former employers, information from employment background check providers and information from criminal records checks. 
  1. Cellebrite may collect this information in a variety of ways, including directly from Candidates, recruiters and recruitment agencies and through individual referrals. 
  1. Instead of directly submitting your job application or personal information to us, we may provide you with the ability to send such information using tools offered by third parties such as LinkedIn or other job application services. Any personal information we receive from such third parties in the context of your job application is subject to this Recruitment Privacy Notice and we shall act as the controllers with respect to such information. However, please note that by using such third party tools you may be required to review and consent to the privacy statements of such third parties, and their use of your personal information will be subject to such privacy statements that we assume no liability for. 
  1. Personal information may be processed by advanced technological tools, including statistical inference, machine learning and artificial intelligence models. 
  1. Legal Basis for Processing 
  1. We process Candidate’s personal information for the purpose of administering employment applications and for necessary recruitment purposes prior to making a hiring decision and, where relevant, entering into an employment agreement. 
  1. When a legal basis for processing is required under applicable law, our processing of Candidate’s personal information is based on our legitimate interests in seeking new employees and considering job applications, as well as our need to carry out the above processing of personal information in anticipation of potentially entering into contractual engagements with you. 
  1. We may retain and process your personal information for future job openings in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Our processing of your personal information for this purpose is based on our legitimate interests in identifying suitable candidates for potential future positions. We will retain your personal information only for as long as necessary for this purpose, in accordance with our data retention policy and applicable laws. 
  1. Sharing Personal Information With Third Parties 
  1. As a global corporate group, we may share your personal information with Cellebrite Group entities worldwide. All such entities are bound by appropriate confidentiality and data transfer agreements. 
  1. We may share Candidate’s personal information under any of the following circumstances: 
  • With service providers engaged by us to provide services that require the use of a Candidate’s personal information, including for purposes related to the recruitment process or for operational needs. Such service providers operate under our instruction. 
  • In the event of any merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale or transfer of all or part of Cellebrite or any member of the Cellebrite Group, or in the course of negotiations relating to such transactions. 
  • If required to do so by applicable law, or in urgent circumstances, to protect personal safety, the public or our websites. 
  1. We do not sell or share your personal information to third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. 
  1. Other than as described above, any other transfer of Candidate’s personal information to third parties will be subject to your consent. 
  1. International data transfers 

For Israeli residents. Your personal information may be transferred outside the State of Israel, including to jurisdictions whose laws assure a lower level of protection of personal information than the level set under Israeli privacy protection laws. In such cases, Cellebrite will take steps to ensure a proper level of protection of personal information as required by Israeli privacy protection laws. By providing us with your personal information, you consent to the transfer, retention, storage, or otherwise processing of personal information outside Israel, as described in this Recruitment Privacy Notice. 

For European Economic Area (EEA) residents. Your personal information may be transferred to recipients in countries around the world (which may be located outside the EEA) which in some cases may have a lower level of protection than that within the EEA. When transferring personal information from the EEA to countries outside the EEA, to jurisdictions that did not receive an adequacy decision or other mechanism approved by the European Commission, we use standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission to ensure a sufficient level of protection for your personal information.   1. Data Retention 

Cellebrite retains your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required to comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, or reporting obligations. We may also retain information as needed for our legitimate interests, including to resolve disputes, establish or defend legal claims, enforce our agreements, and protect our rights and interests.  

If you applied for job openings in general, or if you agreed that we may contact you regarding future opportunities, we will retain your personal information for a longer period in order to send you information about future job openings and to consider you for other positions. Anonymized statistical data may be retained thereafter. 

  1. Data Subjects’ Rights 

Under certain circumstances and depending on your jurisdiction, you may be entitled to the rights regarding your personal information as set forth in this Section (subject to exceptions under applicable laws).   1. Right of access. You may request to obtain confirmation as to whether we process your personal information and to receive a copy of such information. 
  1. Right to rectification. You may request the correction of inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated personal information. 
  1. Right to erasure. You may request the deletion of your personal information where there is no longer a lawful basis for us to retain or use it. Please note that deletion may mean that Cellebrite can no longer process your requests or provide you with certain services. 
  1. Right to restriction of processing. You may request that we limit the processing of your personal information, for example where you contest its accuracy or object to our processing based on legitimate interests, for a period allowing us to verify your claim. During restriction, we will process the data only for limited purposes such as legal claims or with your consent. 
  1. Right to object. You may object to the processing of your personal information based on our legitimate interests, including for direct marketing purposes. 
  1. Right to data portability. You may request to receive your personal information in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and to request that we transfer it to another entity where technically feasible. 
  1. Right to withdraw consent. If applicable in your jurisdiction, where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal. 
  1. Right to lodge a complaint. You may have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. EEA residents may lodge a complaint in the Member State of their habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement, if they believe that the processing of their personal information infringes applicable data protection laws. 
  1. Information Security  

Cellebrite implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, taking into account the state of the art, the costs of implementation, and the nature, scope, context, and purposes of processing, as well as the risks associated with processing your personal information. 

While we take reasonable steps to safeguard your personal information, please note that no system or method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your personal information. We encourage you to take appropriate precautions to protect your personal data when using the internet. 

  1. Minors 

We do not recruit or employ individuals under the age of 18. We also do not knowingly collect personal information about children under that age, except for personal information about your underage children that we may process for purposes such as HR administration, tax reporting, or the provision of insurance. 

  1. Changes to This Recruitment Privacy Notice 

We may amend this Recruitment Privacy Notice from time to time. If we make any substantial changes in the way we use your personal information, we will make that information available on our website.
