2 ways to get Cellebrite Reader and share findings with the investigative team
In this week’s Tip Tuesdays episode, we show you two ways to get Cellebrite Reader – a powerful digital forensics tool to amplify findings and share information across departments.
Method #1:
- Open Physical Analyzer, create a report and choose a project.
- For format—and this is important—in the drop-down menu, select UFDR (For Cellebrite Reader or Cellebrite Pathfinder).
- Click ‘Next’ and scroll down to make sure ‘Include Cellebrite Reader’ is ticked.
- Once the report is exported, the file (in your selected output folder) is going to look like an executable (CellebriteReader (dot) exe).
- Open the report and you will be prompted to ‘Get an activation code’ or ‘Activate later’.
- If you have an activation code, look forward to updates on Cellebrite Reader along with the latest and greatest on what’s supported.
- You can also choose ‘Activate later’.
Method #2:
- Head to our community portal.
- Under the ‘Products’ tab, scroll down to Cellebrite Reader and click download.
- Fill up the registration information and click ‘Download’.
- Open the executable file (CellebriteReader.exe) and enter your email address and activation code.
