Does iOS 13 require the User Encrypter Backup?

Cellebrite Physical Analyzer will notice immediately whether or not the backup is encrypted. If it is not encrypted, Physical Analyzer will prompt you to temporarily set the password to “1234” in order to obtain the most information from the data collection.

Cellebrite UFED also identifies if the backup is encrypted and will prompt you to create the same temporary password if not.

Does the “Disable iTunes Encryption Password” feature also remove user-created passwords?

This feature is built to remove the temporary password set by UFED or Physical Analyzer, not user-created passwords.

What happens if I do not encrypt the backup?

If you do not encrypt the backup, you will not receive important information such as health, wallet, native call logs, Apple Maps, or Safari details.
