Investigative Analytics: How to establish a crime narrative in Cellebrite Pathfinder

This week’s Tip Tuesdays we refocus on Cellebrite Pathfinder and the Investigative Analytics dashboard which is designed to establish a crime narrative for the investigator.
Things like the where, when, they, and how can be seen at a glance.
This cluster of information allows you to investigate a digital person and not just a phone number.
Top media categories and media tags show saved items on a user’s device. Things like screenshots can speak a thousand words to you.
You may also find items and screenshots that are no longer on the device.
Top interactive parties show who’s the person speaking with. You can also see the most interactions on multiple communication channels—which applications were the person using to communicate with.
Places of interest—which matter in an investigation—let you hop straight to a map and see these places of interest on these devices.
If you want to see what the person was doing before, they were arrested or have their devices seized, you can see the last searches which helps you get into the person’s mindset.
There is also unstructured data that is not parsed, which may be of relevance to your investigation.
