Privacy Notice for California Residents

This California Privacy Notice supplements the information contained in Cellebrite’s Privacy Notice and applies solely to residents of the State of California, in accordance with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (CPRA). Any terms defined in the CCPA have the same meaning when used in this Notice.

Categories of Personal Information Collected

In the past 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information, as further described in Section 3-4 of our Privacy Notice:

  • Identifiers (e.g., cookies, account login credentials, IP address, device identifiers).
  • Personal Information listed in the California Customer Records statute (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.80(e)) (e.g., name, address, telephone number, company/organization, job title, professional information).
  • Commercial information (e.g., inquiries regarding products, services or events).
  • Internet or other electronic network activity information (e.g., cookies and tracking technologies).
  • Geolocation data (e.g., general location derived from IP address).
  • Professional or employment-related information (e.g., job role, employer, certifications, information provided in connection with training).
  • Inferences drawn from the above information to create a profile about a consumer’s preferences, behavior, or characteristics.

Purposes of Collection and Use

We collect and use personal information for business and commercial purposes described in Section 4 of our Privacy Notice, including:

  • Providing and managing our services and accounts.
  • Responding to inquiries.
  • Event registration and management.
  • Marketing and promotional communications.
  • Customized advertising and audience targeting.
  • Maintaining and improving our websites and services.
  • Security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

Categories of Sources

We collect personal information from the following sources, as further described in Section 3.4 of our Privacy Notice:

  • Directly from you, when you interact with us.
  • From third parties, such as business partners, service providers, or social media platforms.

We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients, as further described in Section 5 of our Privacy Notice:

  • Cellebrite Group.

Sale or Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising by using third-party cookies, as described in our Cookie Policy. You have the right to opt out of such sharing by using our Cookie settings bar, available at the Cookie Policy. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.

Retention of Personal Information

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, in accordance with our retention policies and applicable laws. You can find further information in our Privacy Notice.

Your Rights Under the CCPA/CPRA

As a California resident, you have the following consumer rights (subject to legal limitations):

  • Right to Know/Access – Request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
  • Right to Delete – Request deletion of personal information we collected from you.
  • Right to Correct – Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing – Opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information – Request that we limit the use of sensitive personal information (if collected).
  • Right to Non-Discrimination – You will not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
