About the Role:

We’re looking for a highly skilled AI Engineer to join our Forensic Research Group and help shape the next generation of intelligent forensic platforms.

You’ll work at the intersection of Generative AI, agentic systems, and real-world data, building advanced capabilities for both internal tools and production systems that transform how complex data is analyzed and understood.

Using state-of-the-art models and emerging AI paradigms, you’ll design systems that move beyond traditional pipelines into autonomous, adaptive workflows.

You’ll help define the future of agentic decoding - where AI doesn’t just assist, but actively reason, explore, and uncover critical evidence, impacting millions of cases worldwide.

If you’re excited about building impactful AI systems and solving complex, messy problems, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and build AI-driven and agentic solutions to parse, analyze, and interpret data from forensic extractions (including mobile devices)
  • Develop GenAI-powered capabilities for understanding, structuring, and reasoning over unstructured data
  • Combine LLMs, multi-agent systems, and heuristic approaches to improve data identification, classification, and insight generation
  • Build autonomous and semi-autonomous pipelines that transform manual and brittle workflows into scalable, intelligent systems
  • Work with real-world, noisy datasets to uncover patterns, anomalies, and meaningful structures
  • Collaborate closely with forensic researchers and engineers to translate domain expertise into AI-native solutions
  • Influence system architecture, tooling, and the evolution of internal AI platforms and agent frameworks
  • Evaluate, fine-tune, and integrate state-of-the-art models (LLMs, multimodal models, etc.) for complex real-world problems

What We’re Looking For:

  • A problem solver who enjoys breaking down complex challenges and building smart, pragmatic AI systems
  • Strong interest in Generative AI, LLMs, and emerging agentic architectures
  • Someone who thrives working with unstructured, real-world data at scale
  • A strong mix of engineering rigor and research curiosity
  • Independent, proactive, and eager to take ownership from idea to production
  • Passion for building systems that create real-world, high-stakes impact

Why Join Us:

  • Work on cutting-edge Generative AI and agentic technologies applied to real-world, high-impact problems
  • Help define the future of AI-powered forensic analysis and decoding
  • Build systems that empower users to unlock and understand critical digital evidence at scale
  • Be part of a team that blends deep research with strong engineering execution
  • Influence products, architecture, and the evolution of next-generation AI platforms
  • Tackle challenges and datasets you won’t find anywhere else
  • Grow your skills at the forefront of applied AI, autonomy, and intelligent systems

Requirements

  • Proven experience in AI engineering, with a focus on data parsing, analysis, or intelligent systems
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in object-oriented development (preferably with C# / .NET)
  • Experience working with Python for AI, experimentation, or data analysis
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs / Generative AI frameworks (e.g., OpenAI, LangChain, etc.)
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (preferably AWS)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Fast learner with a strong drive to make an impact

Nice to Have:

  • Experience building agent-based systems or multi-agent workflows
  • Experience with RAG pipelines, evaluation frameworks, or prompt engineering at scale
  • Experience in forensic research or reverse engineering (especially mobile applications)
  • Strong backend development skills, including multi-threaded and asynchronous programming
  • Background in Machine Learning, Data Science, or algorithm development
  • Experience with model optimization, fine-tuning, or performance profiling
  • Ability to design and reason about complex, AI-first system architectures
