Download Mode, when used as a DEMO in UFED 4PC, is particularly helpful during an investigation. It is used when Android devices get stuck in a boot loop failure or have an unsuccessful physical dump.

When using Samsung Exynos Recovery, follow these steps:

  • Ensure the device is in the proper state.

  • Connect the UFED device adapter.

  • Choose the correct model of the phone.

  • When a pop-up appears stating that the operation was completed successfully, wait for the device to fully boot.

  • Once it boots, click Continue.

A screenshot should appear confirming that the process was successful.
