Version1.5  |  Cellebrite Endpoint Inspector  |  November 15, 2022

Collect from Workplace Applications

With Cellebrite Endpoint Inspector, your organization can connect to users’ mobile devices and collect data from their workplace app accounts. Workplace applications are cloud applications licensed by an organization and managed by that organization’s IT staff. Cellebrite supports these most prevalent cloud sources of workplace data for enterprise-level acquisition:

  • Box for Business
  • Egnyte
  • Google Workspace
  • ShareFile
  • Slack Enterprise Grid
  • MS Exchange
  • MS OneDrive
  • MS SharePoint
  • MS Teams
  • Windows File Share

System Requirements

These are minimum requirements for a small organization. Larger organizations will be assessed individually to determine their system requirements.

Component Description
Index node
  • Linux Centos 7
  • 8 cores
  • 32 GB RAM
  • Sufficient disk space for at least 15% of the size of data being indexed
Master node
  • Windows Server 2019
  • 4 cores
  • 16 GB RAM
Worker node (one for each workplace app)
  • Windows Server 2019
  • 4 cores
  • 16 GB RAM

Manage Templates

You can now create a template outside the workflow of defining a computer collection or a workplace app collection. This is in addition to doing so while defining either of those collection types. You can also edit existing templates and delete templates. Users with the Administrator role can see, edit, and delete all templates. Users with only the Examiner role can see, edit, and delete only those templates they created themselves.

Set a Default Storage Repository

Administrators can now set a storage repository as default. You can do this while creating a storage repository or from the list of storage repositories.

Archive Events

Administrators can now archive events—according to age—to a storage repository.

Simplified License Management

License management for Endpoint Inspector has been streamlined. With a single click, administrators can now upload and activate new server and mobile licenses on the License tab of the Settings page.

Diagnostic Data Collection

Each user of the web interface for your Endpoint server can now choose whether to share data with Cellebrite. We only collect diagnostic data. We never collect personal information or case data. You can change this any time you like in Application Settings.

Cellebrite Endpoint Inspector 1.5 includes many new and enhanced capabilities designed to help you accelerate your investigative efforts.
