This Privacy Notice applies to personal information that we collect and process in our capacity as a data controller, as described below. With respect to personal information that is processed while using our products and solutions, Cellebrite processes the personal information on behalf of its customers. In this case, the relevant customer serves as the data controller, and the processing of personal information is governed by the privacy policies of the customer, and not by this Privacy Notice.
- Definitions
- “personal information” means all information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could be linked to an identified or identifiable person; an “identifiable person” is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, by reasonable efforts, including through an identifier, such as name, I.D. number, location data, online identifier or any other information regarding a person’s physical, health, financial, social or other condition.
- “processing” means any action pertaining to personal information, including without limitation, its collection, retention, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation, alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, revelation, transmission, distribution, accessing, combining, integration, unification, arrangement, limitation, deletion and/or elimination.
- “Cellebrite Group” refers to any company that belongs to the Cellebrite Group, including Cellebrite Inc. - How we collect personal information
You have no legal obligation to provide us with any personal information when you use our websites, and the provision of personal information is solely based on your discretion However, if you fail to provide us with certain personal information, we may not be able to provide you with some or all of our services.
- Your personal information will be retained in Cellebrite’s databases. By using our websites, you consent to the terms of this Privacy Notice and to the processing of your personal information as described herein. If you do not agree to any of these terms, please discontinue your use of our websites.
- To the extent that you provide us with personal information relating to other individuals, you represent and warrant that you have informed those individuals of such disclosure and, where required, obtained their consent to the sharing and processing of their personal information in accordance with this Privacy Notice. You further represent and warrant that you have and will continue to maintain all necessary authorizations and consents for this purpose.
- We may collect personal information through various channels:
- Personal information received from you. We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us, for example, when you register on our websites, create an account, subscribe to our mailing list, request information about our products or services, register for events or webinars, or otherwise communicate with us.
- Personal information received from third parties. In accordance with applicable law, we may receive personal information about you from our business partners, resellers, service providers, publicly available sources, or from social media platforms. We process such information in accordance with applicable data protection laws and this Privacy Notice.
- Personal information received from the use of cookies and other tracking technologies. We use cookies and other tracking technologies on our websites for various purposes, including to monitor your activity on our websites, to improve and enhance your browsing experience, and to offer you services and products you may be interested in. The processing of personal information will be carried out for the following purposes and on the following legal bases, to the extent applicable under relevant data protection laws:
- For contacting you and answering your inquiries
We may process your personal information to respond to your inquiries, provide requested information about our products and services, and maintain communication with you regarding your inquiries. In this regard, we may collect your full name, business email address, business phone number, agency/organization/company name, industry, country, areas of interest, and any additional information you provide to us. If you inquired about our training services, you may also be asked to provide information about relevant certifications you may hold and additional details about your training. Processing of your personal information for this purpose is based on our legitimate interests in responding to inquiries and providing customer service, and where applicable, performance of pre-contractual measures at your request.
- For creating and managing your account
We may process your personal information to enable you to create and manage your user account on the websites (“My Cellebrite”) and to provide you with access to our services through your account. In this regard, we collect your full name, email address, company or organization name, the username and password you create for your account and any other information provided by you while using your account. Processing of your personal information for this purpose is based on the performance of our contract with you as our customer or user (including our Terms of Use) and our legitimate interests in providing you with secure access to our services and maintaining proper account management.
- For event registration and management
We may process your personal information to enable you to register for our events, conferences, webinars, and other professional activities, and to manage your participation in such events. In this regard, we collect your full name, email address, business phone number, organization name, industry, country, and job role. In certain circumstances, we may also collect additional personal information required for event management purposes, such as dietary preferences and accessibility requirements. Processing of your personal information for this purpose is based on our legitimate interests in organizing and managing events, maintaining proper event registration records, and addressing your requests, as applicable.
- For conducting surveys
We may process your personal information to invite you to participate in surveys and to analyze your responses in order to improve our websites and better understand customer needs. In this regard, we may collect your contact details and the feedback you provide in the survey. Processing of your personal information for this purpose is based on our legitimate interests in improving our products and services or on your consent where required.
- For sending you promotional and marketing materials.
If you signed up for our email list or otherwise registered to get promotional updates from us, or in circumstances where we are permitted to do so under applicable law, we may process your personal information to send you marketing communications, product updates, event notifications, and other relevant information about our services and industry developments. In this regard, we collect your first name, last name, email address, phone number, agency/organization/company name, industry and country. You may withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link which will be included in the email we will send you. You may also contact us by submitting a request through our Privacy Data Inquiry Form. Processing of your personal information for this purpose is based on your explicit consent which you provide when signing up for our email listing or for other promotional materials, to the extent required under applicable law.
- For customized audience targeting.
We may process your personal information to create and deliver customized advertising and marketing campaigns, including through social media platforms and other digital channels. This enables us to reach relevant audiences, promote brand awareness, and generate leads. In this regard, we may collect and use information such as your company name, first and last name, role, email address, cookies, IP address, and other identifiers, including information collected by cookies and other tracking technologies, as explained in Section 3.3.3 above and in our Cookie Policy. We may combine this information with the information you provide to us, information gathered by third parties, and publicly available information to improve the relevance and effectiveness of our campaigns. Processing of your personal information for this purpose is based on our legitimate interests in promoting our services, and, where required, on your consent.
- For maintaining and improving our websites and services.
We process your personal information to ensure the proper operation, security, and performance of our websites and services, and to improve their functionality and user experience. In this regard, we may collect technical information such as your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, language settings, country and time zone, access times, referring URLs, and information about your interaction with our websites.
Cellebrite may also use personal information to develop, train, and improve its technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning tools. Such processing may include the use of anonymized or aggregated data wherever possible, to enhance the accuracy, functionality, and security of our products and services. Personal information will not be used to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you, unless permitted under applicable law. Processing of your personal information for this purpose is based on our legitimate interests in maintaining the availability, security, and performance of our websites and services, and in continuously improving and optimizing them.
- For complying with our legal and regulatory obligations that applicable to us.
We may process your personal information as necessary to comply with the legal and regulatory obligations that apply to us. This may include obligations under applicable corporate, tax, accounting, anti-money laundering, data protection, and other laws and regulations, as well as requirements to respond to lawful requests from competent authorities or regulators. Processing of your personal information for this purpose is based on our need to comply with legal and regulatory obligations to which Cellebrite is subject.
- For managing our disputes and preventing cases of fraud or illegal activity.
We may process your personal information as necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, to manage and resolve disputes, and to protect Cellebrite, our users and customers, and third parties against fraud, misuse of our services, or other illegal activities. This may include monitoring and investigating suspicious activities, enforcing our terms and policies, and taking appropriate legal or regulatory action. Processing of your personal information for this purpose is based on our legitimate interests in protecting our rights, interests, and assets, ensuring the integrity of our services, and safeguarding against fraud and unlawful conduct. Where applicable, such processing may also be necessary for compliance with legal obligations.
- For supporting and enhancing security measures.
We process your personal information to maintain and enhance the security of our systems, websites, and services. This includes monitoring for security incidents, investigating bugs or errors, and preventing fraud or other illegal activities. Processing of your personal information for this purpose is based on our legitimate interests in securing our systems and services and protecting against security threats and unlawful activity.
- Cellebrite may also process personal information for the purpose of anonymizing or aggregating such data. To the extent that any information is collected or processed in a manner that no longer identifies you and qualifies as anonymous or aggregated data, Cellebrite may use, disclose, and otherwise process such information for any purpose and without restriction.

- Sharing Personal Information with Third Parties
Your personal information may be shared with the following categories of recipients in the context of the data processing above and the respective legal bases:
- Cellebrite Group. We may share your personal information with our affiliates and subsidiaries, for purposes consistent with this Privacy Notice
- Service Providers and Suppliers. We may share your personal information with third-party service providers and suppliers who perform services on our behalf, such as IT and system administration, hosting, cloud storage, analytics, marketing, payment processing, customer support, event management, and professional advisors such as lawyers, accountants, and auditors. These third parties are authorized to use your personal information only as necessary to provide services to us.
- Business partners and Resellers. We may share your personal information with our authorized business partners and resellers who promote, distribute, or support services. These entities may process your personal information as independent controllers in accordance with their own privacy policies.
- Public Authorities. We may disclose your personal information to competent governmental, regulatory, or law enforcement authorities where required to do so, or where necessary for corporate audits, to investigate or respond to a complaint or security threat, to prevent illegal uses of our services, to defend ourselves against third-party claims, or to assist in fraud prevention or investigation.
- Legal Requirement and Urgent Circumstances. We may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or in urgent circumstances to protect the safety of individuals, the public, or our business.
- Corporate Transactions. We may disclose or transfer your personal information in connection with any merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale or transfer of all or part of Cellebrite or any member of the Cellebrite Group, or in the course of negotiations relating to such transactions.
- With your consent.
- International Transfer of Personal Information
For Israeli residents. Your personal information may be transferred outside the State of Israel, including to jurisdictions whose laws assure a lower level of protection of personal information than the level set under Israeli privacy protection laws. In such cases, Cellebrite will take steps to ensure a proper level of protection of personal information as required by Israeli privacy protection laws. By your use of the Websites or otherwise providing us with your personal information, you consent to the transfer, retention, storage, or otherwise processing of personal information outside Israel, as described in this Section.
For European Economic Area (EEA) residents. Your personal information may be transferred to recipients in countries around the world (which may be located outside the EEA) which in some cases may have a lower level of protection than that within the EEA. When transferring personal information from the EEA to countries outside the EEA, to jurisdictions that did not receive an adequacy decision or other mechanism approved by the European Commission, we use standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission to ensure a sufficient level of protection for your personal information. - Data Retention
Cellebrite retains your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required to comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, or reporting obligations. We may also retain information as needed for our legitimate interests, including to resolve disputes, establish or defend legal claims, enforce our agreements, and protect our rights and interests.
When determining how long to keep personal information, we consider the nature and sensitivity of the data, the purposes of processing, potential risks from unauthorized use or disclosure, and applicable legal requirements. Information that has been anonymized or aggregated so that it can no longer identify you may be retained indefinitely for statistical, research, or analytical purposes.
- Data Subject Rights
Under certain circumstances and depending on your jurisdiction, you may be entitled to the rights regarding your personal information as set forth in this Section (subject to exceptions under applicable laws). - Right of access. You may request confirmation as to whether we process your personal information and to receive a copy of such information.
- Right to rectification. You may request the correction of inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated personal information.
- Right to erasure. You may request the deletion of your personal information where there is no longer a lawful basis for us to retain or use it. Please note that deletion may mean that Cellebrite can no longer process your requests or provide you with certain services.
- Right to restriction of processing. You may request that we limit the processing of your personal information, for example where you contest its accuracy or object to our processing based on legitimate interests, for a period allowing us to verify your claim. During restriction, we will process the data only for limited purposes such as legal claims or with your consent.
- Right to object. You may object to the processing of your personal information based on our legitimate interests, including for direct marketing purposes.
- Right to data portability. You may request to receive your personal information in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and to request that we transfer it to another entity where technically feasible.
- Right to withdraw consent. If applicable in your jurisdiction, where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.
- Right to lodge a complaint. You may have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. EEA residents may lodge a complaint in the Member State of their habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement, if they believe that the processing of their personal information infringes applicable data protection laws.
- Information Security
Cellebrite implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, taking into account the state of the art, the costs of implementation, and the nature, scope, context, and purposes of processing, as well as the risks associated with processing your personal information.
While we take reasonable steps to safeguard your personal information, please note that no system or method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your personal information. We encourage you to take appropriate precautions to protect your personal data when using the internet.
- Third Party Platforms
Our websites may contain links to external websites and platforms that are not operated or managed by Cellebrite. Cellebrite has no control over these platforms and does not monitor them. Providing links to such platforms does not constitute an endorsement of their content or a guarantee of their reliability, accuracy, or legality. Any use of these platforms is solely at your own risk. Use of external platforms is subject to their respective terms of use and privacy policies. We recommend reviewing these documents before using any such platforms.
- Minors
You must be at least 16 years old to use our websites and to provide us with your personal information (or above the age of 13 to the extent required under applicable law). If you do not meet these age requirements, you are required to obtain the consent of your parent or legal guardian for us to process your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Notice. Cellebrite reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to request information or proof of age. If a parent or legal guardian provides personal information about a minor, they represent and warrant that they are legally authorized to provide such information on behalf of the minor.
- Changes to This Privacy Notice
Cellebrite may amend this Privacy Notice from time to time. If we make any substantial changes in the way we process your personal information, we will make that information available by posting a notice on our websites. By continuing to use our websites or your account after such updates, you agree to the revised terms of this Privacy Notice.
