The Intersection of Mobile Investigations and Mobile Security

Thanks for registering.

Evidence, Visibility, and Validation

Date:  Thursday, May 28th
Time: 2pm (SGT, BST, EDT)
Duration: 60 minutes

Mobile apps run your most critical workflows. The harder mobile findings are to validate on the latest iPhones, the harder they are to defend. Learn why this matters to both investigations and security.

Modern iOS, iPadOS, and Android restrictions have created a new kind of risk: security teams remain accountable for controls they can no longer reliably observe. As Apple limits device access, teams are being asked to stand behind findings they can no longer easily verify on physical devices.

An investigations team may need to show whether an app was used, how it was accessed, or whether key mobile evidence is complete before litigation or internal action moves forward. At the same time, your security leaders in a different department may need to validate whether the company’s consumer app on the App Store is handling sensitive data properly and meeting compliance expectations before it’s released.

In this session, Cellebrite and Corellium experts will show why mobile investigation and mobile validation now need to work together where traditional approaches fall short, and what a stronger approach looks like across both teams.

At the end of the session, you’ll walk away with:

  • A clear framework for why mobile security validation is different from traditional mobile app security and DFIR tools.
  • A joint operating model that helps investigation and security teams share methods, environments, and evidence
  • A practical checklist for selecting and operationalizing a controlled mobile validation environment.

Who Should Attend?

This session is designed for digital investigations and security teams working across the same mobile risk and validation challenges, including CISOs and security executives, IT security leaders, and AppSec and mobile security teams supporting corporate investigations or SOC functions.

Agenda Snapshot

  • Why now: The mobile accountability gap facing security leaders today
  • The intersection: Where investigation workflows and security validation share common ground
  • Real-world scenarios: Use cases spanning runtime visibility, reproducibility, executive reporting, and deep platform investigation
  • Operating model: How teams build a shared “digital security laboratory” — and what good looks like
  • Q&A + next steps

Can’t join us live? No problem. Register and we’ll send you the recording as soon as it’s available.
