What’s New in Cellebrite Digital Collector 3.9

New and Changed Features

These features are new or changed in the 3.9 version of Digital Collector.

Support for macOS Tahoe 26

We are pleased to announce that Digital Collector can triage and collect from computers running macOS Tahoe 26, whether already running or started from the Digital Collector device. Mac computers with Apple Silicon (M1–M4 chips) as well as T2 chips are supported.

Note: With this release of macOS, Apple has changed its version numbering to the pattern used by the automotive industry. New automobile models are typically introduced toward the end of each year and are identified as the coming year. This means that the anticipated version, macOS 16, is named macOS Tahoe 26.

SMB Destinations

You can now save collections from live Windows and macOS computers to SMB network destinations using domain credentials. Third-party authentication is not supported.
